Overview
A React Native app for discovering and sharing academic resources, with AllyBot (an AI study chat), SeekHub, bookmarking, ratings, an in-app PDF viewer and advanced filtering by subject and resource type.
Architecture & system design
React Native with Redux Toolkit for state and Firebase for auth, storage and data. Subjects expose notes, syllabus and question papers; AllyBot answers course questions in chat and PdfChat lets you query a PDF directly. Material UI principles drive a responsive mobile UI, and API calls and state were restructured to cut load time by 20%.

Engineering decisions
Designed and developed the app. Moving global state to Redux Toolkit and batching API calls removed most redundant re-renders, which is where the 20% load-time improvement came from.
