Overview

An in-house professional-development platform at Nxtwave that streamlines team coordination, tracks standup and learning-hour participation, and turns peer feedback and session records into AI-generated performance insights.

Architecture & system design

React frontend built on Firebase for auth, data and enterprise-grade security rules. Attendance, session records and feedback flow into an LLM evaluation pipeline that summarises performance and scores instructor sessions on a 4-point scale, surfaced per person alongside streaks and rating history.

Key deliverables

• Personalized dashboard with attendance streaks for standups and learning hours, plus alerts for scheduled events
• Comprehensive peer feedback: request feedback from colleagues and give structured, 100% anonymous feedback to teammates
• AI-powered insights that summarise performance feedback into positive highlights and actionable areas to improve
• AI lecture evaluation that scores instructor sessions on a 4-point scale
• Session participation view with schedules and status for daily standups and learning hours
• Guided onboarding with training videos, resource checklists and a knowledge assessment

Engineering decisions

Owned the build as a Software Developer at Nxtwave. I kept peer feedback fully anonymous in a unified view so people would answer honestly, and reduced the evaluation output to a simple 4-point scale so scores stayed comparable across instructors instead of exposing raw model text.
